Health
Why Healthcare
With a population of more than 1.4 billion, last-mile delivery of healthcare in our country is a major challenge. As a Healthcare Charity India, Raising Hope Foundation works to address issues of accessibility and availability caused by the country’s geospatial diversity and difficult terrains. With over 65% of the population living in rural areas and urban slum dwellers prioritising daily survival over healthcare, uneven infrastructure, limited awareness, and accessibility gaps restrict the use of existing services. Addressing these challenges is crucial to achieving Universal Health Coverage and supporting the Government of India’s vision of Ayushman Bharat.
What we do
Raising Hope Foundation’s comprehensive and community-centric health programme, as a Healthcare Charity India, delivers primary healthcare services directly to underserved communities across rural and urban India. Following a two-pronged approach, the programme provides both curative and preventive services, addressing critical gaps in the availability, accessibility, and affordability of healthcare.
